I spent several years as a Regimental Collections Officer for the Lincolnshire Regiment and Lincolnshire Yeomanry. During this time, I gained extensive experience in Lincolnshire Regiment research, becoming very familiar with the regiment and its records, including the WW1 War Diaries. My particular interest in the WW1 era drives me to visit Ypres most years, enhancing my knowledge and understanding of the British Army during that conflict, especially regarding my WW1 ancestors. Additionally, I am more than happy to conduct research on both the Lincolnshire Regiment and Lincolnshire Yeomanry from any era.

As a former regimental curator, I have extensive experience in military genealogy, particularly when it comes to interpreting military records related to military ancestors. My specific focus is on Lincolnshire Regiment research, although I am knowledgeable about research throughout the UK.
I have a personal connection to the Royal Artillery, as my Great Grandfather served as a Warrant Officer. I have completed several commissions for clients involving research on Royal Artillery service personnel from both WW1 and WW2.
Additionally, I am fascinated by the Machine Gun Corps, who were stationed at Belton House, near Grantham, Lincolnshire during the First World War. Belton House is now a National Trust property where I work part-time.
I would be delighted to assist you in interpreting your military ancestor's service records alongside any other relevant military records, especially in the context of Lincolnshire Regiment research or tracing your WW1 ancestors.
